I might get harangued for this, but Corby is not a typical “tourist” weekend away destination, but if you have friends coming to visit or on a business trip to the area, you should really think about the Saxon Crown Hotel in Corby

The Saxon Crown is owned and operated by Wetherspoon and they have really done a great job. The rooms are light, spacious and luxuriously fitted. Rainfall showers in Corby, who knew.

I really like the fact that they have incorporated pieces of the town history into the rooms where possible.

The hotel rooms are all slightly different being in a 1960 building.
