Could Chocolate For Breakfast Make You Thin? Woo Hoo :)

Could this be the answer to all of your problems? Could you suddenly be getting permission to eat chocolate for breakfast? Cake, brownies and cookies are all possible.

Chocolate at Breakfast … Really?

Don’t assume the worst. These are not low calorie cakes and brownies that taste horrible. These are the cakes and brownies that you spend most of your waking hours drooling over. And they are not laden with ex-lax, so you have no worries of anything less than desirable taking effect moments after you swallow a big, gooey bite of fudge.

Breakfast has always been the most important meal of the day. Every nutritionist and mom out there will tell you that it’s important to eat a well-balanced breakfast because it provides you with the fuel that you need for the rest of the day.

Since when does “well-balanced” include chocolate? Well, more people are now coming around to the idea that chocolate is a great addition to the breakfast table. You can eat a slice of chocolate cake alongside your bacon and eggs – and it will help you to lose weight.

It sounds too good to be true. Surely you cannot lose weight if you eat chocolate cake for breakfast.

Yes … Chocolate CAN keep you thin!

The research is in. You CAN lose weight and many people have seen it for themselves. It all comes down to looking at why it works.

If you get your sweet indulges in early in the day, you have the rest of the day to burn the calories from it. More importantly, you won’t get the sweet cravings later in the day when it is harder to do something about it. If you start eating cake in the middle of the day, those calories will sink into your gut because you are stuck at your desk with the inability to work it off.

You cannot simply eat chocolate cake for breakfast, however. You have to eat it alongside a high protein, high carb breakfast. This ensures that you still get your morning off to the right start. You will be able to get the energy you need to push through the day, burn calories, and stay awake for as long as your day requires.

If you don’t have the sweet cravings throughout the day, you won’t forage and pick. This will make it that much easier to achieve your weight loss goals.

There are also health benefits to chocolate. If you eat chocolate, you are boosting your anti-oxidants and thus enhancing your natural defense system. You can prevent wrinkles, preserve your skin, and fight more diseases when you eat chocolate. This means that eating a bite of chocolate cake is actually making you healthier. You can eat other foods rich in antioxidants, too – like strawberries and nuts. If you find cake with nuts and strawberries on it, you get a bonus.

What about the fat? Only a third of the fat in chocolate can raise cholesterol. Another third has no impact and the remaining third isn’t saturated.

When you sit down for a breakfast of bacon, eggs and chocolate cake, there are some things that you can do to enhance your breakfast further. Substitute the milk chocolate for dark chocolate so you can enjoy more antioxidants. Trade the bacon in for fish to get more healthy oils. And add some vegetables into the eggs so you can get your first serving of vegetables in for the day without having to eat a salad.

Forget about what you have been told in the past. Chocolate cake is good for you. If cake has been your downfall in the past, you have simply been eating it at the wrong time of day. Instead of eating it right before you go to bed, eat it right when you wake up. Add some high protein breakfast foods to it and you will be doing yourself a big favor.

The next time you get on the scale, you can see how it has helped to make you thinner. Go ahead and buy that chocolate cake and have it for breakfast. You can stop your cravings during the day and work off the chocolate before lunchtime so it’s like you never even had it. It can be your little secret.
